I would like to invite you to have your say regarding our Improvement Plan for next year. Our Plan is based on consultation with students, families and partners to ensure that everyone has their say. Our priorities for the next three years are very simple but essential for all the young people in our care. Our aim is to strive for excellence ensuring that every young person at Tynecastle High School achieves the highest standards in attainment and achievement possible, while also ensuring that every young person has the same opportunity to succeed.
The priorities are:
- To improve young people’s attainment and achievement, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
- To close the gap between the most and least disadvantaged young people.
- To improve young people’s health and wellbeing.
- To improve employability skills and sustained positive school leaver destinations for all young people.
A Survey Monkey questionnaire will be available on the school website during the week beginning 23rd May but there are also two opportunities to come in and have your say in person over coffee and cake.
These informal sessions are Tuesday 24th May at 6.00pm and Wednesday 25th May at 10.00am.
I would be delighted to welcome you to either of these sessions and look forward to hearing your views.
