Come and join a singing workshop on Monday 5th February 3.30pm-4.30pm at Tynecastle High School, in celebration of Children’s Mental Health Week. No singing or musical experience needed, everybody welcome!
Children’s Mental Health Week (5-11 Feb 2018) is an annual campaign to raise awareness of children and young people’s mental health. This year’s theme is ‘Being Ourselves’, and what better way to express ourselves than through music? This event is free and open to everybody in the Tynecastle High School community: students, parents and carers, school staff, and also those in our cluster primary schools (Dalry, Balgreen, Stenhouse and Craiglockhart).
Singing will be led by Caro Overy. Caro is a choir leader, singer, and songwriter who enjoys sharing songs old and new from around the world to help people connect and have fun through singing. She is a trained Natural Voice practitioner with experience in a range of community and healthcare settings, and leads Edinburgh’s folk and roots community choir Castle Chorus.
For more information about this event, please contact Sarah Haywood (Place2Be School Project Manager) but please do just come along!
