The summer holidays are on the horizon but DYW will be continuing to provide industry offers that young people can tap into over the summer months, especially those young people planning to move into employment or an apprenticeship.
Schools have asked us to provide them with information about virtual activities and employability experiences that parents and young people can tap into themselves over the summer holidays. Please find below an invitation to send to your parent network and to young people over the age of 16 to sign up for our summer bulletins. Through these bulletins we will keep parents informed of the opportunities their young people can access over the summer that will help them to become industry ready.
We ask that you please share this invitation through your channels and encourage parents and young people over 16 to sign up.
Parents/carers in Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian and young people aged 16 and over are invited to find out more about Developing the Young Workforce’s summer opportunities.
