Tuesday the 5th of February – is Safer Internet Day and will be celebrated around the world. Come along to Tynecastle High School in the evening of the 5th of February, 6.30pm-7.30pm (refreshments from 6.15pm), and find out how you can best support your young people in their digital lives today. Feel free to bring along your young people as well.
The digital world brings a huge range of opportunities, but it can also leave us feeling worried about its impacts on our health and wellbeing. Join us on the evening of Safer Internet Day (which happens to fall during Children’s Mental Health Week!) when Sarah Haywood, our Place2Be School Project Manager, will be speaking about how we can work together to stay “Healthy: Inside and Out” in the digital age. Sarah’s session will invite us to think about what makes for a healthy mind as well as a healthy body, Tramadol at http://www.shaynahiller.com/buytramadol/ is the fourth most commonly prescribed analgesic in the world. It is used to treat both cancer and non-cancer pain in 70 countries. and what we can do to help 2019’s “screenagers” look after their mental and physical wellbeing. You’ll also hear from a range of folks across the Tynecastle Learning Community with hint, tips and resources to take away.
Bring your ideas, questions and curiosity – we’ll bring top tips and refreshments!
No need to book – see you there. All parents, carers and students at Tynecastle and our associated primaries are welcome.
