Sarah Haywood from Place2Be writes.

Hello everyone,

It’s Sarah from Place2Be here. I hope you are doing okay in this unusual and complicated time.

This message is to let you know that I am going to be leaving my role as Place2Be School Project Manager at the end of this term. I have loved working at Tynecastle High School since I joined in October 2013, and I’ll be sad to say goodbye to everyone. It’s been a privilege to be part of such a brilliant school community – thank you to everyone who has supported Place2Be in our journey so far. It’s a real shame that we won’t have a chance to say goodbye in person.

Just so you know, Place2Be will still be a service supporting Tynecastle students, families and staff next school year. The role of School Project Manager is being advertised now and I hope we’ll be able to tell everyone who the new Place2Be person will be, before the summer holiday.

I’ll be working “in school” until the end of term, so please do send me a message at if there’s anything you want me to know.

Sending lots of good wishes to all of you,

Sarah Haywood
