This Tuesday 17th November Jane Ambler, Sravya Vankadara, Rachel Hall and Rebecca Crawford will be representing Tynecastle High School in the final of the Enterprising Maths Challenge at The Science Centre in Glasgow. Good luck girls. We are proud of you for getting through to the final!
Thank you to all staff and students for taking part in the NSPCC Number Day Step Up Challenge on Friday the 5th of December. Thanks to your generous donations, so far we have raised £418.88 for the NSPCC. We will find out the winning house this Friday when students will complete the follow up Numeracy activity in Tutor Group to find out how high they climbed!

Tynecastle students set to take on NSPCC Number Day Step Up Challenge
On Friday 5th December all staff and students will take part in a fun filled Tutor Time activity to raise funds for the NSPCC and Childline. As part of the annual NSPCC Number Day event students will come to school wearing a number. They will then take part in a high energy Step Up Challenge and compete to be the winning house! In the following weeks students will complete numeracy tasks in class to find out how far they climbed whilst learning more about how he NSPCC benefit from all of the funds generously donated by the Tynecastle High School community.
