Snore Pupil Research Achieves First Publication

The research of our fantastic Snore Team is now officially published in The Royal Society Student Conference Programme. Six members of the Team will appear in person at the Student Conference next week to present their work to The Royal Society on Wednesday 7th March 2024 (Iain Williams, Nida Afreen Patel, Shreya Navaratna, Jaiden John, Fredrick Mekabe-Mpi, Reych Reyes).

What an achievement! We are very proud of all 17 members of the Snore Team. Do please wish them all the very best!

The Royal Society signs off Snore Pupil Research Project

With overall funding in excess of £15,000 financing the project, a 3-day trip to London in July 2023 to take part in The Young Researcher Zone and the upcoming 3-day trip to London next week to take part in The Royal Society Student Conference, Snore has been a huge success and The Royal Society have now signed off the project. Yay!

Elizabeth Chambers, Royal Society Schools Engagement Officer gave the green light this month and told us, “I am delighted to see that the project has been such a success… Thank you so much for all your time and hard work in running this. It has been lovely working with you.”

We now move into an extension phase with an invite from The Royal Society to apply for a further £1500 to carry out the work of our pupil research leaders, The Dream Team.
