Specific Information about School College Partnership courses that are in high demand:

Hair & Beauty – Apply through the Edinburgh College website from 23 January 2024. There will be College Experience Events at Milton Road Campus & Granton Campus on 15 March and 23 March.

Professional Cookery Level 3 – Apply through the Edinburgh College website from 23 January 2024. There will be College Experience Events (full details to be confirmed).

Automotive & Engineering – Courses not open to apply on the website. Register your interest on the Edinburgh College website from 23 January 2024. Later, invitations to attend a College Experience Event (full details to be confirmed).

Construction – There will be a new place-based delivery model. Therefore, courses will not be open on the Edinburgh College website. Details still to be confirmed.

Criminology Level 5 or Level 6 – Apply through the Edinburgh College website from 23 January 2024. There will be a College Experience Event (full details to be confirmed).

In January, we are judging the best science books of 2023 and collaborating with other libraries in a fantasy genre craft event. We will also find out which book series won the Manga vote.

The S2 Parents & Carers Information Evening is being held at Tynecastle High School on Monday 11 December, beginning at 6pm.

This will be an opportunity to find more information on:

• How the S3 Curriculum is different from S1 and S2
• The process of choosing subjects for S3
• The supports that are available for helping your child make choices
