Teenage Booster (DTP) and Meningitis ACWY vaccinations

NHS immunisation packs are being sent home with all pupils in S3 this week. Those in S4 – S6 who have not yet been immunized will also be issued a letter.

The Teenage Booster vaccine completes lifelong protection against tetanus, diphtheria and polio. In addition, pupils are recommended to have a Meningitis ACWY vaccination which protects them against several strains of meningitis.

Please return the completed forms to the school by Friday 4 December 2020.

Two-Way Video for Tynecastle High School

We are pleased to tell you that Two-Way Video functionality through Microsoft Teams is being turned on for Tynecastle High School. This will enable us to best support our students when or if a Blended Learning approach is required. This does not mean that all staff will use this function or that it would be suitable for all lessons. However, it does give us an additional option which will allow the sharing of screen, content or presentation.

Please see the below information regarding policy, guidance and advice.
